Every year I ask the Mrs shall we do deep fried turkey for Christmas, every year she says I should know better given that I work in insurance. Then you’ve got this guy doing his indoors!

It's a popular way for Americans to burn their houses down at thanksgiving. A mate (originally from Los Angeles) said there was always some idiot in the neighbourhood who set fire to their house putting a frozen turkey into a fryer on the deck.
