Dunno much about Knoxville guitars, tbh, but GFM's own-brand stuff is not hugely well-renowned as far as I can tell. If you can stretch to a bit more, Thomann's Harley Benton stuff is usually pretty good in terms of quality/price. This one, for example, might be a better bet. If you can stretch even further, this one would be good. I've heard very good things about the TE-62s and the pick-ups they use.
