Not much help, but GXP is no problem in my experience. Plenty of miles on a few GXP cranks on and off road. Still smooth and free spinning without service.

If you aren't bothered by the aesthetics of these (I never much liked them, a bit retro for my taste), they are really solid and good quality. Paired with a decent sealed bearing Shimano BB they should be fit and forget.
I used a set for a while and have absolutely zero complaints. Also SRAM Omniums have been discontinued so won't be in stock anywhere, other than second hand.

I have SRAM s300 cranks and they are good, I think Omniums look a lot better though. And something to keep in mind is that they are 130 bcd so 'normal' track chainrings don't fit
Gxp is fine. -

@samrensho A bit too retro indeed. Hadn't realised the Omniums were discontinued. That's sad.
@kjlem thanks for the heads up on the BCD, I hadn't clocked that.
Hello,
After my Miche Primato cranks snapped a little while back I'm in need of replacing. Any advice (and appropriate BB to achieve 42mm chainline also) would be gratefully received.
Preferably around £200 max, have been looking at the below, but I am up for any other suggestions.
SRAM Omniums. Were top of the list, but appear to be out of stock everywhere
Stronglight track 2000. Seem to be good, but cranks are silver (eww).
Sugino SG75. More £££ than I really want to spend.
SRAM S300. Not finding much about these, any good? Heard GXP might be rubbish.
I will absolutely not be going anywhere near anything Miche ever again. Seriously, fuck Miche.
Cheers
