I bought an endura humvee recently as a commute jacket. seems pretty good so far although I've not worn it in a proper deluge yet.
the pit vents are good for a bit of additional airflow. big enough for plenty of layers underneath without being too baggy.
the only thing missing for me is hand warmer pockets which limits it slightly as a jacket off the bike.
I recently got one of these: https://www.endurasport.com/gv500-waterproof-jacketolive-green/12936374.html
I'd recommend it, it's significantly more breathable than other jackets I've had in the past, but still looks normal enough that I don't mind wearing it to the pub. And much more in line with my budget than some of the super high end alternatives. But as the others said, I don't think anything really waterproof will also be massively breathable. I wear a sweat wicking base layer for commuting which I swap for a normal t shirt when I arrive to work, works well for me!
