Rebuilt the Mac mini early 2009 with @Muppetteer original disks and 500gb
Installed High Sierra via a patch using MacBook Pro, it didn't accept my password set with the restore dvd install, so I had to do it all again. The installer stuck on 6 mins remaining for 120 mins, so I did the whole thing again, twice.
Anyway, I'm here now. Thanks to @Dogs & @Muppetteer!
