  • I would like to gift my partner tickets for the CATS musical and I need some general advice.

    • Which seats do I get? I would like the balcony seats for the lolz (I imagine myself sitting there with a tux and binoculars) but view and acoustic might be better in the frontal seats. Also the frontal yellow seats (on the bottom) are not available on Saturday, which I would prefer.
    • When do you have dinner? Friday performance is at 7.30pm and saturday at 6.30pm and goes for 2h45min incl. a break. Before is too early or straight not possible due to work and after might be too late. Are there snacks during the break?
    • Any etiquettes that I should know? You may have noticed by now, but I'm quite new to this environment so any advice is appreciated (dress code etc. although I'm quite sure I don't need a tux for a musical)
  • http://Www.seatview.com , get an idea of what it would look like from a given seat.

No special etiquette other than don’t chat, don’t sneak in noisy food wrappers (they sell sweets in cups at the snack bar), try to avoid arriving at your seat late or leaving early (take advantage of bathroom breaks, usually a mad rush). After theatre dinner in London is a real pain as most places have closed. Make a reservation beforehand, otherwise you’ll struggle.
