  • I think it was a lot broader than that but my issue isn't with it, it makes sense you reduce amplification for people posting misinformation, the bigger issue is Twitter exec's continuously said it isn't a policy and doesn't happen. All that lack of transparency does is fuel the nut jobs and conspiracy theorists.

  • Except Twitter gave a clear definition of what they meant by shadow banning when they said they didn’t shadow ban, and nothing in these “revelations” contradicts that

  • I guess it's semantics but I think most people consider not being able to see the content of people you don't follow as shadow banning along with making people undiscoverable in search
