  • I've come to the conclusion that no glove recommendation from anyone works for you, even if said glove works for them (and all their mates in -25c...).

    You just have to buy #allthegloves to find the right one for you...and then carry at least three pairs on any given ride to cover all temp ranges...

  • Spare dry gloves that have been tucked inside your layers is a nice thing! I also used to put mine inside the bed and sleep in my riding socks when I knew I’d have a cold ride to work coming up so the gloves were warm as I put them on

  • I then to use a thicker pair (or lobsters) to start with and then change down to a thinner pair when/if I've warmed up enough.

  • i take it from your profile name you are tall and presumably then have big hands? I did want some px gloves but was put off by reviews saying XL is like a normal medium, does this apply to the lobsters?

  • Sleeping in your riding socks is a great idea.

    Similarly, I always keep my gloves under my armpits to keep them warm when I stop at cafes.
