I can imagine Jimmy Anderson watching the wickets fall, and the batsmen come up 70-100 runs short, yet again, preparing himself for 5 or 6 sessions fielding, thinking, 'Guys, can't just one of you bat responsibly, now and again? We're meant to be professionals. Give me the ball, Ben, and watch how it's done.'
