  • I have to admit I am really really enjoying Traitors. Properly silly but thoroughly engaging watching people trying to work out who the traitors in their midst are. And quite interesting psychologically.

  • Thanks for the Tokyo Vice recommendation, really enjoying it.

Shun Sugata has the look of Robert DeNiro from Godfather Three, great casting.

  • Has anyone tried the reboot of Willow? Is it worth a watch?

    +1

I know it's all edited and the contestants are vetted, but I find it so funny that people are getting wound up about not being able to essentially randomly guess 1 of 3 out of a group of 20 something people.

Also how emotionally invested these people are in everything.

I'm enjoying it too. I was thinking how boring a contestant I'd be compared to this lot; in the scene the morning after the first 'murder' I could totally see myself just getting pissed off that my breakfast was being interrupted by a bunch of emotional melts every 2mins.

  • Ha!

I know right. My OH and I were saying exactly the same thing. I just don't get how you can get so gassed over a random you've spent a couple of days with.

  • I imagine if you got down to the last few and £120k was at stake you'd get pretty paranoid and bit more exciting! I particularly like Maddy (I think) - the one with all the slightly bonkers theories that she is convinced are all spot on. The couple reveal should also be good value.

  • WTF was the last episode

  • Maddy

I've only seen 1 and a half episodes, but it feels like her persona is an elaborate act...

  • No idea, I just watched it to be done with it.

  • Well, that episode of the Traitors didn't disappoint. Great fun.

  • Detectorists, Christmas special incoming.

  • I'll be circling that in the family Radio Times

  • Oooh!

  • @villa-ru did you watch last night? Absolutely hooked and wish there was a censored version I could show to the kids.

I'm loving Maddy's ever escalating traitor theories

  • Yes. It's so good. My oldest is full-on wanting to apply for the next season!

Loved them all laughing and eye-rolling when Maddy started off again. And arrogant Tom getting his deserved comeuppance.
    Great brain-off telly.

  • I know absolutely nothing of the original. I was bored yesterday so put the first episode on... I'm hooked! A bit cheesy but loving it so far.

  • I’m halfway through episode 3, super cheesy, fairly obvious plot twists so far with all the reveals well signposted. Loving it, great scenery with terrible acting, perfect combo for cold weather train commuting.

  • Should keep me happy until His Dark Materials is back on.

  • The challenges are sooo tedious though. I don't care in the slightest about how much they win.

  • Definitely the filler tracks between the banger action.

  • Oh my days. Tension.

  • I'd missed Deep State (currently on Disney+). Really enjoyed season 1... slightly trashy spy thing with Mark Strong and Joe Dempsie. Some nice tense bits, decent action segments. Easy way to spend a spare hour

  • A beautiful program.
