Has anyone ever returned things on amazon past their return date?

An angle grinder with a 1mm cutting disc…….
Or any brand you have heard of Bahco etc. have to be bimetal (hard teeth/ flexible body). Progressive teeth are good- one end of the blade has fine teeth to start, the other end is more course for speed).
If you have problems finding some drop me a DM before lunchtime Friday and I’ll Nick some from work. -

Done it with faulty stuff plenty of times.

I've got a bahco one, is good.

Aye, but need a hot works permit for grinder innit, so hacksaw often has to suffice. Never seen those progressive blades - sound dead handy! Have been accidentally ripping the teeth off new blades as they grab too much.

Cheers. I left stuff in the office thinking I'd have time to take it back, but haven't been back in for weeks.

Best app to upload a route onto (gpx) and then have displayed on a phone to follow?
-
• #115384
Think you can do that in Strava, if you already strave. Or ridewithgps. These are assuming cycling with the phone on the bars.
I think there's even a way to import a gpx file into your Google maps and follow it within that but I can't remember...

If it was me—except if it was me I’d put the GPX onto my Edge 530—I’d use Ride with GPS or komoot. I prefer komoot but there is not really much functional difference between them; why not give both a go?

OSMAnd is a nice, easy offline solution (for Android).

Weirdly Strava seems to make some "decisions" about the route, so I upload a GPX, and then it decides that I should actually go round the park rather than through it. Bit weird. Going to try it tomorrow morning.

I've got a garmin watch that will let me do a breadcrumb trail, but I kinda need a visible map. Going to try Strava as I have it, then maybe explore other options. Thanks!

Can I see mars in about a 4 o'clock position next to the moon?

Yes

Can I see mars in about a 4 o'clock position next to the moon?
Excellent, I got out just in time to see this!
-
• #115394
Yep- amazingly bright. Moon (and Mars) almost directly overhead here which is novel.

What sort of angle grinder cutting disc do I need to cut through bike locks? I promise it's not dodgy, I work for a bike subscription company and occasionally one of our locks will get seized whilst a bike is locked up. The current angle grinder discs we have are shit

The Hilti premium 1mm disc last and cut pretty well. They also don’t tend to explode when they get pinched, unlike some of the cheaper ones out there. Not that I’ve had experience of that you understand.

Seat post and Derailleur.
I purchased a frame from here and I’m building it up. The seat tube tapers from 29.5mm at the top to 32.7 at the bottom. What size front Derailleur hanger? 😳 -
• #115398
Measure the tube at the point where you're going to hang the dérailleur

Any suggestions for ways to attach a minind lock to the side of a rear pannier rack?
