• The Walcot is pretty family friendly in the front section. Have only been for Sunday roasts, which are great.

Landrace Bakery nearby is worth a stop for a takeaway cinnamon bun.

Both a bit of a walk from the station.

+1 Beckford Bottle Shop is great.

  • Thanks for all the recommendations folks.

We went to The Walcot in the end. Lovely venue and delicious food.

I had the bavette steak and the better half had the burger, both fantastic.

There isn’t a kids menu so we got our toddler hummus and bread, also delish.

There’s no baby changing facilities but I didn’t check beforehand nor for a kids menu.

After a few hours of mooching about Bath in the cold, we tried to grab a coffee at a few places. Nearly all the coffee shops are tiny and didn’t have space for a buggy and seating for a little family.

If anyone else is going with little fam, I’d suggest planning your coffee stop.

    Much love.

  • Glad you enjoyed. Hope the train was fun too. Saw plenty of kids so assumed they had some sort of child menu, sorry! Our 1yr old isn’t quite ordering a la carte so hadn’t clocked. Baby change is pretty poor across town.
