You might have caught me out there.

But it could be a valid question? I am not sure I want it even tho it is a beautiful design.

I would feel the same way. It's a lovely watch but a lot of money for something so old and fragile.

The crystal is a bit banged up but no reason for the movement not to be solid, even after 50 years. If that's the original strap you could always put a replica on for daily wear.
