Yeah cool, I kinda guessed it was a Val 72 because the lower pusher is perceptibly further from the crown than the upper but have never seen this reference before - found it now, Ref E 13001
I’m currently balls deep in a vintage Heuer phase and the 2447’s are also powered by teh sex Valjoux 72.
Movement is a Valjoux 72, same as the Daytona. These version were made in France, with even fewer having that written on the dial. Some people say they think they're maybe less than 100. Think this would easily reach double its price in a few years or sold by a dealer. Will try and find the listing.
@Ordinata Yeah it's mainly the crystal as @inchpincher said. For its age I think it's in amazing condition, once you clean it up it'll look amazing! Seen loads of other people advertising pieces that are way past this, 'tropical' dials that are just in plain bad condition, missing lume, damage due to the tritium etc. Guess it's always open to opinion anyway.
