You can do that on rwgps online and it's free...

The useful bit of routecheck I always found was that you could just click on any part of the route and it would show the images of that street view, without having to do any aditional clicking or dragging the little street view person around. Might be able to do that on RWGPS now though, I've not planned a route for a while.

It's been years since I used routecheck but RWGPS has a StreetView preview (see first pic) and a bigger version if you drag the little yellow person down to it. My main use of RWGPS nowadays is flicking between Google and OSM maps and surface types.

Yeah thought that must have been what the first picture showed. I look forward to using the facility in the distant future when I stop being lazy and start riding a bike for more than just commuting again.

I save myself a lot of mapping woes but just riding the turbo. :)

Hmm, let me see what I've got. Might be able to put it up on a free host minus the rwgps and heatmap features.

How do you do the preview thing? Clicking on the route doesn't do anything.

I'm a fucking liar. Or at least have too much going on to remember which actions I took to achieve a result. You don't click. You do still have to drag that little guy.
If you're editing a route you can right click anywhere for Street View though.

Hmm you can right click anywhere and choose "show streetview" but it's full window, not a nice little preview.

OK give this a spin: https://routecheck.y3m.net/
I disabled the ridewithgps login and the strava heat maps that no longer work but the rest seems good. You can still upload a GPX file if you want, and the one-click streetview works as well as the OSM gravel highlighting.

That's what I missed!

oh amazing! We are currently looking into a rondo-trip next summer in east-europe. Able to have to site up for a while or what are you thinking? :-)
Thank you <3

For the foreseeable; I'll post here if it's moving or anything.
RWGPS has Satellite view, OSM, Google Maps and has the ability to use Street View. I don't remember but what did routecheck.cc do differently? Also, Germany doesn't have Street View data I didn't think, so that's not gonna help you anyway :)
