I don't think so, should just load your routes in.

No, not sure where I found it but I've had it bookmarked for awhile https://ridewithgps.com/routes/27072036

Great, thanks

As it's tarmac, I stupidly assumed it would be off road. Best riding here is off road ;)

In a similar vein to Routecheck, just seen this that could be a useful accompaniment to Routecheck for anyone with a Google Maps API key. Always wondered if it was something that was possible and never found anything elsewhere in my brief searches.
With an example of it working here https://streetwarp.ml/result/0f870236/?src=https%3A%2F%2Fpetervideocdn.azureedge.net%2Fpetervideocontainer%2F0f870236.mp4&fbclid=IwAR3pTutJWgW5U5L15nnJB0THkvNcAYR0J170RDyk8htU9mG-ZZFWhKtj69A

Are there any current issues with connecting to RWGPS?
I keep getting 'Login failed: Rejected'Actually I'm not getting the heatmap either (am logged in to Strava).
Tried on Firefox and Edge.
Maybe I am missing something, not used it for a while, but can't think what.

Oops, meant to update here and forgot. Recent browser updates have basically killed 3rd party cookies and that has broken the strava auth for heat maps and rwgps login.. soo that's pretty much the end of the site. Hosting costs nothing so it's "up" for now but I won't renew the domain.

Oh, sorry to hear that. It was a great site while it lasted - thanks a lot for doing it.
It's still a pretty interface and the click for Google Street View is good. But back to double screen read-across! -
• #117
Thanks, it was useful for a time. Other tools have gotten better though, like rwgps has heatmaps (from their own data, obvs) and streetview, and decent surface type handling now.

• #118
True, but there's still nothing quite as good - and there probably won't be for a while!
-
• #119
yoooo, what happened to the site? :(
So hard to plan on random-trips where we don't know the roads well.
So much easier and better to use than RWGPS! -

Browsers got even more strict on third-party cookies, strava's half hearted support for sharing their heat map tiles..
Heatmap got blocked, then ridewithgps login stopped working too, so I shut it down.

RWGPS now has Global and Personal heatmaps which makes route planning a bit better than before.
-
• #123
Yeah rwgps have stepped it up lately.

Ah! I really miss the feature that I can click on a road to see what the road looks like (the street view feature). Something that you can re-release maybe? Would def be happy and gladly pay a $ for a thank you<3
I did never use the heatmaps feature as I used Strava to plot the route. Then edited the route when I saw bigger roads etc from your page.
Currently trying to plan a rando-trip from Germany to Italy, so. A lot of kilometres in google street view is painful and takes a lot of time -

Is it possible to make a copy of the site somehow? If you don't want to spend money on something I mean, the site had, still have potential!
I'm pretty sure is Chrome-specific now. Tried adding a site exception for 3rd-party cookies but that didn't solve it. I think the problem is Strava setting cookies without a permissive
SameSite
setting. Chrome now won't send those cookies to the auth page so then the tiles don't work. Bummer.1 Attachment
