That's a pitty, but wet calves I can live with, or wear my rain pants that my mate found floating in the canal. I've been stubbornly commuting mudguardless for 10 years now, the worst are the wet shoes and the shit stripe on my ass and back(pack). Actually semi looking forward to the coming 'moesson' to see what's improved.
Thanks for the warning on the slipperyness of the marathons, I'll make sure not to push them on the corners. Bloody done with crashing.
Too bad for you but half rear mudguard won't get you dry legs. Dry ass but wet calves. I experienced it yesterday morning.
My sks bluemels lost some bolt and had to get some zefal seatpost mudguard :(
Marathon are punctureless, dont worry where you ride.
Reviews say they are slippy under rain, I never had fear to ride them. Maybe if you race and you bend in corners..
