It has these outputs, and I have these adapters (think my DVI cable is in storage in Bow)

That's pre 2010, and you'll probably need a disc with the operating system on.

early 2009, having looked up the serial number.

I think I'm probably wasting my time on this aren't I?

However, if anyone has an El Capitan DVD I could borrow, please let me know so I can get some closure!
