• Mrs GB needs a dual SIM capable phone so it makes most sense for me to give her my 2 year old iPhone 12 mini and for me to get a new phone. Handily I've just stopped paying for the 12 mini after 24 months of 0% finance direct from Apple.

iPhone 15 is going to be late 2023 so no point waiting for that to bring the other prices down.

Much as I love the 12 mini I wouldn't mind trying a slightly larger phone so thinking of the 14 or the 14 Pro.

Is the 14 Pro worth the extra? I take a few photos (mostly family/holidays) but not huge numbers but wondering if the vastly better camera(s) on the 14 Pro would be wasted on me.

(The difference in price is "only" ~3 London pints a month for 2 years.)

    😂 This is excellent logic

Well, minimum iPhone with Dual Sim support is iPhone 12, and that's £350+ 2nd hand. May as well pay ~£40/mo to get a whole new phone.

Plus I get a shiny new iPhone 14.
