I whipped out the old one, that gave me a Linux login page, and stuck in an SSD, with a view to installing something on it.
I am also using a mini-dp to HDMI adaptor, not sure if that would stop me seeing anything? That adaptor worked with the Linux drive installed
Command R is doing nothing either, Apple noise, then the white screen
