I think having wee peely wally nubs sticking out beyond fenders looks shite.

If I gave any fucks, I'd have fitted them, loosened them off and trimmed them properly. As it was, I hate mudguards and I'm lazy so I just used sidecutters or similar to cut them off as close as I could. Turns out it wasn't close enough and my missus probably has a scar on her legs to show my lazy mudguard handiwork. Mind you, if she did it herself...
and I agree about the silly looking plugs.

Trim the stays for mudguards you have, not mudguards you want.

I've never used those little things. They might stop you get scratched up if you're carrying your bike and haven't trimmed them far enough but chicks dig scars
