  • Which Cockpit is this? Looks lush!

I've not yet found the right bar for my Bullit.

  • Need to get replacement feet for some bullit kickstands. I vaguely remember someone mentioning using walking stick ends or similar. Any ideas? Or anywhere with the original ones in stock

  • Also need this! ^

  • it's a bullmoose bar. used to be readily available and relatively cheap from Planet X. But they don't seem to be replenishing any of their nitto stock :(.
can still be bought for ££ from FreshTripe.

PX also had their own brand called Funae San or something. but those have also been out of stock for an age (also almost certainly made by nitto i think)

Bullmoose and Cargo bikes are an excellent combo!

  • Wonder if you could 3D print in TPU or similar? I know mine are worn!

  • Thanks, Currently got a set of Raleigh Swept back on there.

  • Need to get replacement feet for some bullit kickstands

    Also @cake
I saw these from M_A_X's link on the previous page. I never even thought that people might be printing their own...

  • Got a spare set of DT Swiss 350 wheels 29/20
HERE in case anyone is looking for an upgrade / replacement / set for a build.

  • So following on the theft of my MPF Drive controller unit - does anyone know if there is an intercompatibility chart of sorts to use another controller - universal or banfang etc.

I am looking to buy a spare MPF "I4U" display but would like to futureproof the bike, if this was to happen again.

    @amey ?

  • A member of our team is looking to sell his large V2 Elrond Green WiFi Mini-Max, it is stock (with webbing) components but it has had a new chain and cassette fitted not that long ago and can come with a 'backrest'

Not sure what sort of price he's looking for but thought I'd see if there was anyone on here interested? We're down in Bournemouth but can help arrange delivery if that helps.

  • I’d recommend cane tips, they’re more durable than thermoplastic and have metal insets at the base. Walking pole tips might work too.

  • We've got some on order, should be arriving soon, I think they are pretty reasonably priced (sub £10) I can hold a pair for you, we're planning on keeping stock

  • Thanks all!

@VeloSurMer I'll drop you an email, probably easiest as it's being bought through work.

  • thing is, most insurance will require a Sold Secure Gold lock anyway

  • Nowhere as sturdy as the UA steel battery carrier but I made a lump of wood which fits in front of the battery. It is secured with a hasp & staple with a padlock. Stops the casual thief with a large flat screwdriver.

  • Yeah for sure, it could just be all that shop has in stock, or worse, could be that they think its an OK quality product to put on a mid drive cargo :S

KMC Z1eHX EPT narrow or wide (proper mouthfull) are very good value at around £16 rrp, they handle mid drives well, last long enough and are very quiet. Seen some full scale track chains being used but often noisey unless your chainline is hermetically inline.

  • Annyone on here familiar with "532 error" on Bosch Powerpack frame battery? I'm pretty certain it's corrosion or dirt on the male plug where battery fits. I've had issues every now & then where power just cuts out, or Intuvia display starts flashing on/off. Brushing terminals with wire brush seems to work for a while. Wondered whether electrical contact spray might help? Also, if this is an issue with others, might be good to have a cap to go over terminals when the battery is removed

  • 532 is technically a DU error iirc, but it's always the battery in my experience. If you have access to another powerpack, I'd install it and see if the issue goes away - that will tell you if the issue is isolated to your powerpack specifically and you can go from there.

  • Cheers, I'll try the battery reset. Unfortunately I don't have a spare Powerpak

  • Having done a bit more research on my stolen MPFDRIVE display screen, it looks like the connector is HIGO.

HIGO is, from what I am reading today, the standardised connector for e-assist.

Does anyone has a spare display with a male HIGO plug so I can try if another controller screen could potentially work?

  • Would also love a pair if you can post?

  • My Besbike display unit for the Bafang would not switch on for a ride I was doing on Saturday.

All the cables seem fine, can't see any kinks or folds. Battery is fully charged, sits into the cradle fine, nothing blocking or preventing it happening. I only had it out for a successful ride earlier last week.

I don't suppose anyone has any first aid tips? My knowledge of Ebikes is pathetic. I've emailed the shop to say I am bringing it in on Wednesday morning to get it fixed. I'm guessing it's something small to resolve but can't really be sure.

Can't believe there isn't a dedicated Ebikes thread on LFGSS, not that I can see anyway.

As you can imagine I am a bit frustated and disappointed with the Besbike conversion job at this stage. I hope they get back to me and say I can come in on Wednesday, it's the only day this week I can do it.
