  • Sticking up for the Cactus here, which was an attempt by Citroen to reverse the trend of ever bigger and more powerful vehicles. It featured a number of weight saving ideas and smaller engines for improved economy and the styling was partly driven by this functionality. It also included innovations such as the visible side airbumps to reduce damage costs and interiors styled on furniture design.

  • I hired one last month on holiday and was pretty impressed with it. I do like the idea of the side protection as well.

  • I had one as a rental car once (black paint, mercifully) and it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected.
