Sickening. Where are you based for collection?
-
• #3
I’m in Bristol if someone wanted to collect. I do head up to London every couple of months for work so I could possibly make London work if it’s a dealbreaker.

That works for me. I'm in Worcester. I'm going to spend tonight thinking of all the reasons I shouldn't buy this and I'll let you know the result in the morning, if you still have it buy then!

No worries! Don’t think too hard…

Sick frame, did you buy it directly from kavalinka? do you what kind of tubing was used?
-
• #12
I believe he uses Kaisei tubing for his frames but not 100% on that. I bought it from a seller in the US who in turn got it from NJS export I believe (or at least had the listing photo).

Sorry went with the cranks.
Sadly looking to sell my Kalavinka after a year of gathering dust. One of the nicest NJS frame builders (imo) which are still pretty rare in the UK, especially in larger sizes. The frame has the odd small chip but is otherwise in really good condition - no dents or structural defects. It's painted in a pearlescent dark purple but this only shows up under certain light, it mostly looks gloss black which i've tried to show in the images. It currently has a sticker for the headbadge but I have a hand-painted metal version that I bought direct from Kalavinka which i'll include in the sale. The details of the frame are:
– Top Tube 57cm cc
– Seat tube 57cm ct
– 27.2 seatpost
– 120mm/100mm spacing
– Dura-Ace 7410 NJS Headset
– Hatta R9400 NJS BB
I'm looking for £800 for the frameset with headset and BB (plus postage/Paypal fees) or it is currently built-up with the following parts if someone is interested in the full build:
– DA 7600 Crankset: £120
– DA 7600 Chainring 48t: £30
– MKS Royal Nuevo Pedals / MKS Toe Clips and Double Straps: £55
– D.I.D. NJS Chain: £20
– Nitto B809AA (with Strong V grips): £45
– Nitto Jaguar Stem: £30
– DA 7710 hubs with EAI 17t cog and DA lockring / Araya RS-430 rims / Continental Ultra Sport 2: £300
– Nitto S65 Seatpost: £25
– Selle Royal Dolphin Saddle: £30
I would like £1,400 for the full build or i'm happy to split (individual prices above) if someone takes the frameset.
I think i've included everything but let me know if I missed out any details or i'm out on any of the prices.
