Can't find the source right now, but there was an Estonian long form article that quoted Ukranian defenders describing how fighting off the wave attacks felt like mowing down zombies.

I agree that the rate of attrition will be disgusting atm.
I know that casualty figures are obviously very hard to estimate, but there hasn't been anything published by foreign intelligence services for ages. They seemed to be doing it monthly at the beginning of the war. Any thoughts on why that could be?
Seen a few videos of Russian troops in foxholes/open trenches suffering hypothermia and barely able to move when being attacked by drones. The Russian conscript casualties are going to be mental.
