For the same reason as the world cup in Qatar is shit, i.e. it was a shithole run by minor cunts before, but now that it's a shithole run by a major cunt people think there's more cachet in denigrating it than there was before.
In an ideal world, a couple of things will happen: Musk will get bored or scared that he will lose 100% and sell out to some adults for 10c/$, and everybody else will stop deluding themselves that Twitter is important and just see it as a useful but not important 21st century BBS
