Altura All Roads Repel shorts

Any advice on sizing? 31-32" waist, Medium in most bibs. Are Altura generous in their sizing?

Altura shorts arrived today.

Not worn them for riding yet, but just trying em on and wandering round the house, size small fit perfectly and I'm about a 31" waist.
Fit wise, they're slim fitting but not too slim, with a bit of stretch.
