Looking daily at https://www.tomorrowspapers.co.uk/
There seems a recent trend on many front pages (Mail, Express, Times, Telegraph) showing pictures of this radiant glowing sparkling woman.
Why are they doing this every day?
Who is she?

Confession time! I started working back at the DoY's today. Nothing much has changed though I think Egham's famous Pizza Express probably deliver now.

You're probably right I wouldn't believe anything he said.

Must be awful for the royals to find out that they had a massive racist in their midst for (*checks notes) 60 years and nobody had a clue until someone decided to mention her being massively racist to Black people at official events. They must be massively shocked and disappointed.

Hussey, 83, the widow of the former BBC chair Sir Marmaduke Hussey, had recently been appointed one of the ladies of the household.
I know nothing about those cunts, but is that a position that commands a salary? If it is, why the fuck are they appointing 83 year olds?

Nice bit of age discrimination. That aside she was effectively downgraded to this position as part of the “modernisation”.

Young folk aren’t racist enough?

Nice juxtaposition of threads:
"Keeping your home warm / heating / energy crisis / insulation etc"
"Royalty" -

They probably asked the players where they’re “really from”.

Sir Marmaduke Hussey
What a fucking name.

If I recall correctly, theres a portrait of Marmaduke Hussey in the board room at the Royal Marsden Hospital. He was Chairman there for a long time.

Today I learnt that Marmaduke isn't just a name for Great Danes and other dogs.

My parents have an aging, orange and white, longhaired tabby cat called Marmaduke, named thus because my ignorant youngest brother wanted to call him Marmalade and was too stubborn to acknowledge his mistake when it was pointed out.

What a fucking cool name.

We can get royals as pets now? I knew it would happen in my lifetime!

Harry = entitled , sanctimonious, privileged, hypocritical, navel gazing sap / “victim “
Meghan = self serving, narcissistic, manipulative, “victim”
Royal family = institutionally racist (that includes you Harry) privileged, inbred, waste of money and space -

In medieval times, one or other side would have poisoned the rivals or had a small war or something. Nowadays, the chosen weapons are Netflix and Mail Online…

Can someone explain to a non-native the purpose of writing endless pages (and sometimes pointless comments) regarding something you have the uttermost disdain of?
Perhaps it's a quintessential British thing of complaining "in private", but it's not like anything said in here has the pretence, 0r the substance, of actually making a difference (i.e: the abolishment of an archaic institution).
Genuinely interested and not an inflammatory/provocative question

When you feel the monarchy is very much like the emperor in the new clothes and you feel constantly encouraged and expected to say how splendid they are, these pages allow those of us who realise they're naked somewhere to say so.
Plus, writing endless pages (and sometimes pointless comments) is surely what LFGSS is for! Why else have the mince pie, which tyre, etc threads?
Or a 25 minute loop of Winston Churchill going down a waterslide to Benny Hill music depending on if sky decide to show it.
