I usually do them in C#; did day one as a pretty simple loop iteration then a lambda for Part two. Whenever I do these I always strongly suspect that anything I've done isn't the best way to do them.
As usual, I'll check reddit later to see that someone's managed to do the whole thing in a single line of python.
