This is the most fun bit of solving, in my opinion. It is when you can start being a bit creative in what you do, rather than just learning algs and finger tricks which is what OLL and PLL is all about.
Sounds random but there is a YouTube video that teaches the three basic F2L manoeuvres by analogy to the hunting styles of different animals, crocodile, eagle and something else. It worked to get me started on F2L. From there, less esoteric videos can help.
