• Cinelli Vigorelli Road steel, Chorus 11spd, Large/56

Love this bike, been in and out of my hands since I bought the frame on the forum a good while back. It's done mountains, the Downs (N&S), sportives, commutes, bike packing, a bit of gravel-lite (hence current tyres) and is just a blast to ride. Tight but comfortable. It came back to me from a friend as a p/ex early summer, I did a complete service with new chain, brakes, BB bearings, a nearly new cassette, new wheel bearings, new tyres as shown, only done about 200 miles since, running really sweetly.
Some chips and scratches (no dents) but plenty of distraction with that Marmite paint scheme.
A little wear to rims but plenty of life left in them.
Happy to swap out tyres, saddle, bar tape if others preferred.

    Full spec:
    • Cinelli Vigorelli Road, Thron steel, Large/56, see photos for geo. equivalent to 56 square.
    • Cinelli/Columbus carbon fork, 1&1/8" to 1&1/2" steerer
    • Hope headset
    • Full Campag Chorus 11s post-2015 groupset with new brake callipers
    • 172.5mm carbon cranks with Specialties TA 50/34 rings
    • Zipp Service Course 80mm stem, bars & seatpost
    • Cinelli saddle & bar tape (Mike Giant)
    • Handbuilt wheels with black Record hubs, serviced and new bearings
    • Kinlin 32H XR22RT/XR22T rims (tubeless compatible but tubes fitted).
    • Chorus 12-27 cassette, Chorus chain, KMC link
    • Nearly new Schwalbe G-ONE speed 30mm tyres (or choice of others)
    • Can supply various pedals, state prefs (nothing too fancy!).

    Full photos HERE

In case it's of interest, saddle height in pics 74.5cm, setback 6.3cm, reach to bars 53cm

Shall we start the inverse bidding at £1000?
NOTE: Frame and fork provisionally sold.

Viewing/collection SE1/Waterloo, and in case it comes to it the only splitting options are complete bike or frame/fork/headset only, maybe finishing kit if there's demand, groupset and wheels I would keep. I would ship the frameset (UK only) but complete bike collection only.

  • Apologies for hijacking the thread, how's the clearance with 30mm on the front? I have the track version of this frame which I believe uses the same fork. Been looking at those exact tyres for the coming winter.

    Glws

  • No probs! Loads of room at the front, less at the back on the Road. Front could take a 32, probably wouldn't risk it on the back. Only problem I had was the earlier Chorus brake callipers didn't have as much clearance in the relaxed position so tyres had to be inflated in situ, only reason I swapped the callipers, the later ones more accommodating. Great tyres IMO, comfy, fast, grippy. Not so good in mud obvs but handled loose gravel, dry track, even some wet cobbles fine.

  • Sunday Special - for one day only!
Frame, fork and headset posted in UK for £300, collected from SE1 £285.

  • So much want but no cash till payday..hope still here when cash comes :D

  • You never know your luck 😉. Can't be long to payday right?

  • Eheheh!
Not long no but you never know!

Speaking about size: it’s a bit (horizontally) long and I see you compensate with 80mm stem.
How tall and arms lengths pls?

    Thanks

  • I'm 5'9" now apparently... lost an inch over the last couple of decades but what can you do? I'm average build otherwise but with long thighs so need decent setback which increases the reach to bars. As above, it's 53cm from tip of saddle to centre of bars which is my ideal reach - I have other bikes with a 56cm top tube, one has a 9cm stem, a couple 10cm, it's all down to the geo of the frame. You're welcome to come and try it for size.

  • I have other stems available if you need longer, wouldn't recommend going any shorter.

  • Thanks for the precious info.

I’m way out of London (peaky blinder city 😂) and require shipping but I will take into account.

Wait for payday if still here lucky me, if not lucky someone else (and the seller!)

    Thanks retro!
