  • That’s a rad build, like it a lot.

  • If anyone wants rid of a small f&f i'd be keen.

  • Is that a Large or X Large? Looks great

  • It's an XL. Was a bit concerned when I got it as I'm 6'1" and my other bikes tend to be Large, but having a bit more space on an off-road bike is a good thing (plus wider wheelbase etc.). I think any smaller and I would cut the handlebars, but on an XL they just about look acceptable

  • Bit of a dredge but anybody here bought it complete rather than frameset only? Just wondering if the default components are decent, particularly the wheels. Right now the bike is about 900€ complete which seems pretty good for the versatility it provides but if the components are trash it might not be that good a deal

EDIT: Talking about the tutto plus, not the original tutto

  • I dithered on a eBay Tutto Plus complete (sold at £375 or less iirc). Two things put me off: The weirdly short headtube and the slog of selling off the very ordinary build components … the frameset is/was spot on for my needs but something else will turn up.

  • My tutto in his summer and winter apparels

  • I got one a few months back as insurance replacement and only really wanted frameset. The standard parts are all pretty cheap and most have already been replaced with stuff I already had (seat post, seat, bars, stem) and some wheels I built on Surly Ultra hubs as I like how they look and they sell a 130mm spaced single speed rear hub.

  • Il me semble reconnaître le bidon.....

  • ♥️♥️♥️

  • Nice build

  • The tutto does seem a solid piece of kit and no discs too.
Does the rear wheel on the complete build allow for the single sprocket to be replaced and a cassette used?

  • I keep thinking about one of these on 650b hmm

  • The stack height on these is crazy low though, I'd have to use a shitload of spacers to make it work ... Even on the XL the headtube is only 13cm

  • that's another thing, they seem to have changed the geometry without warning anyone. So you'll see different geometry charts in different places. The head tube on the XL, according to their official website is 12cm and not 13cm like pretty much all retailers show it as.

  • So it's even worse haha

  • I got a Tutto Plus back in May; I just wanted the frame set but it was sold out everywhere and ended with the full bike. Like other posters have said components are low quality. I have replaced everything except for crankset and headset (will likely upgrade after this winter)
Initially when I was riding with original components I had extremely bad fork shudder while braking. It was so annoying. New wheel+ brakes solved the problem.
