  • Looks like those awful annoying tiny robots from Transformers.

  • Honestly, the pictures on the listing didn't show the afterburners but I could see "Bertone" on the side and Googled it, mad.

Seller was a cycling nut and had a fair few bikes tucked away. Said he was tempted to keep the saddle himself but thought it deserved to go with the bike, cool guy.

As this bike is now n+3, I'll get some red/black Keos, 25mm tyres (23s on at the mo) and some new black bartape for the Spring and ride it as is. Headset is a bit gross but smooth and I'm honestly a bit scared to knock it out to replace it in case I ding/swell the headtube!

  • reminded me of this guy...

  • Yes! Also that MF :D

  • Anyone interest in this beast of a frameset? Finally come to the conclusion that I have too many frames and will never use this.

TT is 56cm c2c can and the seat tube is 56.5cm c2c and 61cm c2t.

Will take more pictures if anyones interested.

  • very cool

  • Does anyone have a CAAD12/Supersix dropout cable stop going spare? Part number is KP302. Cheers

  • Ha! I knew I recognised that window. Good selection of drinks but not many crisps (bike brand adjusted for thread relevance).

I'm selling a set of Hollowgram wheels if anybody needs a decent pair...

  • Opinions on the 2017 super six evo disc? Anybody using one?
Never disc road bikes before are they worth the investment?

Ones come up locally and my curiosity has been sparked.

  • Look at my new friend. Sent my original SystemSix back to Cannondale 14 years ago with paint fail and it was replaced by the absolutely shit Six (horrible bike). Always regretted it. Now got this bad boi and have built it up and I love it. Won’t be leaving my house quickly now !!!

  • This is a system six too, what is the difference and what made the other one shit?
Also, have a look in this thread:
    https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/375298/

  • The Six was their first full carbon road frame and it sucked by all accounts

  • glad to see this back on the road!

  • Thanks. Perhaps I wasn’t clear. I had two SystemSix’ some clear coat which failed and Cannondale replaced it, with a Liquigas team frame. When the varnish on that failed as well, the SuperSix had replaced it but Cannondale refused to replace my Systemsix with a SuperSix I accepted the offer of a Six, yes, the first Taiwanese carbon Cannondale which was absolute junk. I found this for a bargain price expecting it to be rubbish. It is anything but !!!! Brilliant bike. Stoked beyond words !

  • Great build.

  • Cannondale aficionados! I’m looking for a vintage Cannondale ad celebrating the caad stiffness. I must have seen this in an old catalogue or some other online source not long ago. The ad/picture is of a cyclist standing or squatting on top of a Cannondale frame (rear triangle) pictured flat on the floor. I’ve searched the old catalogues to my best knowledge but can’t find this picture. It would be highly appreciated if anyone can direct me!

  • 😊😊😊
