Thanks :-) It has been a great bike, really quick and very tight geometry :-) Hard to let go as Ive had it all my cycling life (50 now) but Im moving house and its not getting ridden. Think I've only been on it once this year.
Have two other fixed I ride - Principia for TT/hill climbs and Dolan FXE for commuting with mudguards and dynohub so Id rather this went to someone who will appreciate it and get it out once in a while... -

Hi,
Had to move this from my brothers in London to my dads in Torquay as bro was needing the space back in his daughters bedroom. Its now at my dads in Marychurch, Torquay if anyone is interested in taking a look.
Thanks
Martin

Mike Mullett (SBDU) Reynolds 531 professional track bike 24"
C-T=60.5 cm
C-C=58.5
Mike Mullet was Gerald O' Donovan's right hand man's at Ti Raleigh's SBDU unit at Ilkeston before he set up by himself.
I bought this around 1986/7 when I was 14 off its first owner who had it built for him for time trialling (hence the front brake being fitted) so I know its genuine. I used it for years for time trialling, hill climbs, general road riding with my race club and the ctc as well as getting to school on - in those days we hadn't realised one bike just wasn't enough.......(profile pic is me carrying it along a footpath with the south devon ctc in the late '80s, I was probably riding on 20mm tyres at 140psi...)
Beautiful condition with lovely unmarked paint, I had it inspected and refinished 5 years ago by Bob Jackson when I also had the inside of the tubes treated and the lugs lined in black (they weren't originally) and also a little more fleck added to the metallic paint which is as close in shade to the original as I could get.
Many parts were replaced at that time (some with NOS, all others with very good condition). Since then it has hung on the wall and ridden maybe 50 dry miles and a couple of 10 mile TT's which seems a crying shame as it needs to be ridden.
531 professional frame 24" 60cm. Only modification to this is that I had 1 set of bottle mounts added professionally to the down tube in the mid 90's as I hated the band on bottle mounts.
Was well used when I was young, but never crashed, abused or mistreated.
I restored this returning it to how I would have liked to have it when I was younger (if only I had more cash at the time).
