Staple for us is a kilo bag of carrots rough chopped and roasted on high heat with S&P, fennel seeds and other spices depending on how I’m feeling, then soften some onions and one of the carrots, chuck it all together with some curry powder, fry for a bit and add about a litre of whatever stock you have. Blend til smooth, season to taste, consume. Very tasty and adaptable with other veg/seasonings
