I've mostly enjoyed 'For the love of Hip Hop' on BBC Sounds. I realise though even if you download an episode on the app, it's only temporary. Can anyone suggest the best way to convert to MP3? I'm only after this one episode https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m001b3ry?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile

You could use something like VLC to record it. Let me know if you get stuck and I may be able to do it.

I went to see KRS One a couple of weeks ago at the Brudenell in Leeds. He was superb and was incredible to see an og legend in such an intimate venue. Did anyone else manage to catch him on this tour?

I caught him a couple of years ago in Bristol but was on holiday when he played again a couple of weeks ago.

I was blown away by how good he was and how much energy he had. I have loved his music since I was around 16 so it was great to finally see one of my all time favourite legends.

I will definitely go to see him if he tours the UK again.

He played The Trinity in Bristol, which is also a smallish intimate venue

Yeah - he took the stage by doing a crowd walkthrough which was ace and a real presence. I didn't realise how tall he is. Whole set was superb but some of the acapella stuff was totally next level.

I feel blessed to have seen some real legends recently in similar venues who've just smashed it. Kool Keith and Big Daddy Kane stand out.

Just hoping Rakim and EPMD take the hint and come over soon. And Spoonie Gee.

Rakim is playing Bristol next June, I am going!

Thanks for the suggestion, I couldn't get VLC to recognise or stream the BBC URL, not sure if there's some security or I was just doing it wrong. Some joy with YTsaver, I'm still unsure whether I have a physical copy, I'll try again tomorrow!

Let me know if not, I tried with Audials but BBC Sounds seemed to block it. I can think of another way if YTsaver didn't work
