Fitting MKS Ezy pedals - instructions say IF crank has a recess, use the washers, and if there is no recess, don’t, as it may “cause malfunction of the Ezy adapter”. The Brompton cranks don’t have a recess, but I think it’s better to use washers anyway. Yay or nay?
I've used GBFO washer on mine because without it the QR mechanism wouldn't release / engage properly. Mine weren't MKS, but the mechanism looked identical.
ETA - my Brompton doesn't have Brompton cranks - mine are Shimano and recessed.
