A friendly local(ish) studio is doing a Halloween themed flash day, with a "pay what you can afford" approach.

Guessing a ton will be about right for a rando palm sized pumpkin?
Maybe chuck £13 in scratch cards into the mix to spice it up

Sounds pretty fair. With flash days, especially when it’s for charity I generally chuck a score on top of whatever is charged to cover the consumables.

I’m tempted by a Halloween banger but bit skint this month.

Last minute flash this afternoon after a bit of a low week.

Actually just a flash sheet the tattooist had up for (early) Halloween.
I was torn between a few, but this little funster won out.

Currently hanging out waiting for a little Halloween banger at New Wave.
Lal Hardy is holding court lecturing everyone about the good old days, folks crying with laughter trying to get tattooed. Good times.

Wanted cherry skulls for years. I’m glad I didn’t get them fully coloured in as I don’t have any massively colourful pieces but should maybe have let her put a dash more red in. Will see once it’s settled.

Really like the cherry skulls. If you don't mind me asking, what's the little tattoo between the chulls and horseshoe?

It’s the ScorpioMars tattoo shop logo. Bestowed upon me in recognition for all the DIY I seem to do in their shop. It’s a snazzy little thing. I think it’s some astrological tings but I don’t know about that world.

Dexter Kay who did a piece for me when they were at king of hearts, has had a rough year, compounded by some serious post op complications that leave them needing to find some cash whilst being unable to tattoo.

^only just spotted this and looks like they’ve closed the gofund(but smashed the target). Hadn’t seen their work before, top stuff.

Malice made a quick start on gap filling my arm today. Veiny goodness looks like it’ll work well for the spaces I’ve got on that side. Apologies for the instastory screen grab. It may or may not become a neck banger in future hence it kinda starting in a random spot.

Oh great. I have often wondered what to fill between my patchwork

This was a spur of the moment decision, it’ll work well on my left arm but not the right. Obvs can be extended as and when required which is handy.
I love going for appointments not knowing what I’m getting, usually the best ones.

Because of the money burned on the embroidery machine, I’ve been avoiding walking into my local shop. I know he’d happily make something appear in a gap. Might still have to do something small and funny.
