SOLD SOLD SOLD For sale is this lovely Carrera Tony Doyle Epic GT lugged frameset. I believe it's an '88 or '89 model.
There is no sticker, but research suggests it's made of Reynolds 501 steel.
Quite big: 61cm seat tube and 58cm top tube. The rear hub spacing is 126mm, I believe.
I do really like the "paint splash", and "in your face" paint job on it :)
The frameset is in good shape for its age. No dings or dents. Few small paint chips as expected.
No big visible patches of rust. It could do with a good cleaning, I guess.
It comes with a smooth Shimano 105 (1055 series) headset, a 3M(?) stem, and a Cinelli drop bar.
I am not an expert on vintage road bikes, so please correct me if you think the information above is incorrect, please.
I would like £100 for the whole thing if collected from Birmingham, or £120 posted to UK address.
Thanks a lot.
Hola amigo! What do you have in mind? I have to say that I'm more into building bikes than riding them these days. I am getting "rounded" because of that, so maybe it's a good idea to go for a ride.
