Hope Tech 35w wheelset. Pro4 hubs and Hope's own Tech 35W rim. I believe this wheelset is now rebranded the Fortus. 650b (27.5) 6 bolt, boost spacing, 15x110mm / 12x148mm bolt through wheels. Front hub is orange, rear is purple. The freehub is Shimano Microspline, so the latest 12 speed format.
Included with the wheels is a pair of WTB Ranger XC tyres. The front is 27.5 x 3.0" and the rear is 27.5 x 2.8", both are set up tubeless with tubeless valves. I think these tyres are excellent, surprisingly fast for XC/trail use but due to the volume you can run them at low pressures for masses of grip. They're the "light/fast" version.
The rear has seen less use than the front, but it has had a couple of punctures so there's a couple of repair "worms" that don't look pretty, but they do work. Both tyres hold their air. These wheels are really versatile and capable. I've used them for XC and trail use on my hardtail, but I've also got the 29er version on my enduro bike that only gets used in bike parks, so they can take abuse too. Would be great for XC/trail as they are, but could be equally good for enduro/park/DH use with more gnar tyres.
A couple of spokes near the valve on the rear wheel are a bit kinked near the rim (see image). I assume a rock strike has done this at some point. The wheel is very close to true still and strong. I've ridden it like this for ages and it's absolutely fine. The front wheel is perfectly true. The hubs spin smoothly and for ages and the freehub is perfect too.
There's a fair bit of tubeless sealant splatter on the rear rim and a few marks on the rims where I've hung a bike on a hook in the garage, but generally they're in great condition and work perfectly.
I don't have any wheel boxes currently but could probably deliver within a reasonable distance of Maidstone, Kent. PM if you're interested to see if we can arrange something mutually agreeable. Looking for £250 for them, otherwise I'll keep them and use them myself. Thanks for looking.
