I use the puck screen. Shots appear more consistent, but I got one of those needle distributors at the same time so hard to isolate whether it's made a difference.
Machine/grouphead seal need cleaning less, which is a more definite positive (though you do need to get used to catching the screen when knocking the puck out).

I had the normcore puck screen and remembering it helping a fair bit. Allegedly they help compress the puck which increases resistance and means you can grind coarser. Whether thats something you want is a different matter but it definitely helped make things more consistent

Anyone use any of the normcore accessories? Tamper/flattener/distributor/puck screen etc
Any of them worth using? Wondering about Xmas gifts to myself.
