Very helpful, I’m currently trying to replace all my old spinning plate hard drives with ssd’s and those prices are decent.

I got all excited as I'm planning on upgrading all my drives to 8tb in my nas but they're the only thing not on sale it seems. :(

This has totally sent me down a rabbit hole…. Especially as I’ve just seen the Tekken and a load of other fighters are on sale on steam currently ….

My current plan is to play street fighter 5 with fight stick, (so I’m not totally shit) it’ll get me back into playing games after small person goes to bed and not just endlessly watching YouTube videos of not much at all.

Then when streetfighter 6 comes out next year will dip my toe into some online matches and stuff. I’m never going to be good enough to need a hitbox, and if I can get decent enough on a fight stick to win some online matches, I’ll be happy enough with the outlay on the box itself and the upgrades..

Amazon have dispatched the ssd, so ps5 upgrade is a go. Cheaper than the secondhand one I missed out on eBay a week ago..

nice. I was tempted to swap out by 1tb 980pro but so far the only game I actually seriously wanted to play on my ps5 is the GoW fragglerock so i'm fine for space for now.

Hoping with the 2tb upgrade I won't ever run out of space for games on there.

I have brand new, sealed 1 tb SN850x with heatsink for sale for £80 if anyone is interested in upgrading their PS5.

Yes, would be £4 for Royal Mail Tracked 24, insured up to £100.

Just upgraded fight stick, as parts arrived yesterday.
New Sanwa joystick, heavier 2lb spring, sanwa “silent” buttons, sanwa octagonal gate and blue joystick ball.
Went for a PlayStation theme with the buttons, just didn’t have a pink silent button so went for red. Going to give it a run out later this week..

Photos show fight stick in its original state, with a dual stick for scale (its a whopper, though smaller than “pro” fight sticks) and in its upgraded state..

Good work, how was it inside? Easy to swap the cables over?

Easy enough. Getting the button cables off was a bit tricky to begin with until I started needle nosed pliers to pull them off.
Need to double check once I start using it that the joystick inputs are the right way round.

Ah yeah those are the most common cables, very easy. I realised I've wired my down and up buttons in the wrong order and have trimmed the cables so can't swap them over.

It’s incredibly entertaining, dialogue choices that actually MATTER (so elaborate), one of the best voice actings I’ve ever heard.

Anyone tried Cyberpunk on PC after all the updates? Considering getting it to play over xmas break but still not sure. ryzen 5 3600 / 1660S / 16gb fwiw.

I think from everything I’ve read and seen, that Cyberpunk on pc is now where it should have been at launch.
No major bugs or anything and runs well.

So, after having 2 kids in 2 years during the pandemic and not playing anything since my 2nd was born 18 months ago I had a magical window Saturday and Sunday evening where my wife went to bed straight after we put the girls to bed as she wasn't feeling well.

Dusted off the controller and booted up the PS4 to find that I hadn't turned off auto subscription for ps now, so I started streaming Ghosts of Tsushima, so bloody good, it's just Witcher with samurais, I'm just hoping I haven't forgotten how to play it by the next time I get to play it.

There was another big update recently, apparently it gave a noticeable boost to the graphics. Worth a try I reckon, it's on sale everywhere.

Cheers folks, yeah I'll give it a smash, will just do the usual and lean on the steam refund policy if it runs badly.

I know what you're saying, but I read that as "Result! The Mrs is ill: game on!" :)

Worth a go for sure. There's still the odd bug but pretty much flawless compared to the launch version. Look up control settings though because the defaults are weird.
