• Am looking for some headphones. Bluetooth and active noise cancelling.

Predominantly to be used at night to block out noise (snoring, cars, souls crying out etc).

I find earplugs intrusive and painful so I think in ear buds would be similar.

So, over or on ear headphones that are comfortable to sleep in, any recommendations?

  • Have you looked at the Bose sleepbuds? In ear, but (allegedly) designed differently than trad in ear headphones for this express purpose.

  • Get custom made ear plugs that are made for sleeping. Works better then anything else I've tried. Really comfortable and block out better then anything else. Mine are pluggerz custom sleep

  • All earplugs? I’ve found that the Bio-Ears plugs (or unbranded equivalents) work well enough to attenuate sound to a level where I can stop stressing about it and sleep. £5. Silicone and you mould them to fit your ear, obviously.
I don’t think I’d be able to sleep with a sound input from headphones, regardless of how comfortable they are.
