Can I ask why, if you were interested to enough to follow it and check it multiple times, you weren't interested enough to cast a vote?
Your explanation makes sense for why the number of views might be so high

Morbid curiosity, aversion to twitter polls + apathy. I'm mostly a read-only user of Twitter. I rarely ever hit like and rarely retweet stuff.
As the Twitter app on my phone doesn't handle polls I'd have to faff around logging in on a computer if I really wanted to vote, and there's almost literally no point at all in participating in a twitter vote. Plus it's Musk & Trump and I really don't give a flying fuck about either.

Dunno, probably about right.
I looked at it on my usual twitter app, but this app doesn't support/display polls so I copied the URL to paste into a private browser window to see what the totals were.
I then checked again a bit later, and then again after the poll had closed. So I'm probably responsible for at least 8 views that would be hard not to consider unique given my network setup.
(I didn't bother voting either.)
