can't say I've had any issues at all in the heat
I have the syntace hiflex seatpost as well which adds some lovely squish

yeah the syntace is great - super dependable and a 10 year warranty!
have had no issues running it hard and attaching bags to it

Instead of the Syntace hi flex post, try the Niner RDO post. It's identical but often cheaper.
