Ive some giro republics that Ive used for commuting for donkeys years (maybe heading towards 10 years? whenever they first came out). They have replaceable walking pads, which ive swapped out a couple of times - hence the longevity (plus a lace swap every few years)
However the pads are worn and you cant get them anymore, so very sadly the shoes lifetime is now limited.
Are there any other spd shoes with replaceable walking pads? Otherwise I guess I need to up my track stands....
