Dylan was totally on form last night in Nottingham.
Venue pleasant, sound perfect. Sightline good. Crowd diverse in age and gender, and totally white.
His range of voices reflecting his different eras. A strong harmonica blast at the end of every grain of sand. He has amazing lungs
The songs almost like an aural representation of his dna. Easten central European, vibes mixed with delta blues, ragtime...and the band coalesced, he gave them space and they him. The whole thing was a well crafted masterpiece.
He was chatty with the audience more than I've ever (heard) seen before. "Nottingham, where all the Sherrifs are"
He did an additional encore after Ever Grain... A song by Jerry Lee Lewis:
Can't seem to say Goodbye
Apt.

@skydancer It is a lot of money agreed - but I would say if the Springtime in New York set is anything to go by, the packaging and accompanying book are superb, with great photographs and very interesting text
@jmg412 Love Sick is on the Live CD, don't know what version though

The whole story of how that happened with The Plugz a punk/new wave band from LA is so cool. The bit where he gets the wrong harmonica and they have to just keep playing while he sorts it out is so good
