As I understand it, he's still on the team but won't bother with any road races next season. It's not like the team will miss him, he did 19 race days in 2021 and just 5 this past season.

Off the world tour roster as of end of July this year... he's still an EF rider in terms of equipment and support I guess but not eligible to race road for them.

Worst of both worlds, no? He seems to get a disproportionate amount of mechanicals in races, riding Cannondale & associated kit
