Maxxis Hookworm, Mafia Lagos, WTB thickslick, DMR Supermoto.
Quite a few out there at the moment. Wheelie bike boom means there are loads of options. I think you may struggle with a 2.5 in the rear but you never know. You will have to let the tyre down to clear the brake pads as well when you are putting the wheel in.

Went for a set of Schwalbe Billy Bonkers, mainly because they're tan wall and look good. Bits should be arriving tomorrow and getting the wheels sunday! Annoyingly ordered some cantis off ebay which I didn't realise are being shipped from Lithuania so they'll be the last piece of the puzzle which could take a while to turn up...

Honestly though I've already been looking at a 1x12 groupset.... Anyone had any experience with the Sunrace one? I can imagine it won't be the best quality but could be fun...

I have exactly the same on mine. Good tyre.
What about a Sensah groupset if you are looking at Sunrace, also Microshift as well? I quite fancy the 9 speed microshift.

Annoyingly no guard mounts on the front wheel, has anyone had any success mounting guards to the bottom of a rack? and on that note, does anyone know a good canti post mounted front rack?
Or maybe it's better to get a rack which goes into the wheel drop outs and mount regular guards to that somehow...

SJS do probably the cheapest but still solid canti front rack, I’ve used one for bikepacking trips and commuting, it was all good

Thanks! Long term plan is Campag 11s and the cool black carbon cranks they do but for now I'm just enjoying riding it. Been a while since I had a proper road bike

New tubeless setup on the mash plus some cable cleanup, and a NDS photo of the Kona built up. Randomly found the Inbred frame I had at my parents, not sure what to do with it but 650b gravel+ does sound enticing…

Anyone have any experience riding an 26" inbred with a 650 wheelset? any ideas what rigid fork would be needed?

Disc mounts probably

Starting to come together…
Went (very) conservative with tyre size, could probably fit closer to 2” instead of the 1.5” Terra Trails I have now.

I have 650bx47 gravelkings on mine, still plenty of clearance.
Only thing I dislike about these frames is the super tiny headtube... 12cm or so for a XL.
The frame is designed for a suspension fork of 475 mm a-c, so 450mm with sag more or less. The Salsa fork I'm using is 483mm so a bit too long...

Looks great, good to know about the clearances.

Inbred is all done, rides well! Did 70k up to and around Epping forest! Surprisingly capable on the single track side of things too.
(And yes I need to sort the BDHU)

The Kona Paddy Wagon is likely going up for sale as it's a bit to small for me to make it comfy, and I've been offered a good deal on a nice old steel track frame...

By the looks of things the landshark will also be on the way out, will make a proper sale thread tomorrow
I'm really(!) happy with my Continental Contact Urbans - I think they comes as large as 26x2.2"
Have also been looking at Michelin Pilot Pump at 2.3", but haven't tried them yet.
