Wow, people can argue all they like about the pros and cons of wearing a helmet in standard scnarios but i'm not sure there is any valid argument for not wearing a helmet if you have recently had a brain injury!

As I understand it most brain related injurys are casued by the brain moving inside the head, something that a helmet can do very little about.
Not an expert though, just something I remember reading and I wear a helmet.

Special mention for the woman I know who now cycles with a cowboy hat on after being hit by a car a couple months back. She wasn’t wearing a helmet and ended up with a brain injury. She said she was fully recovered now but perhaps she’s not quite there yet
